Our Lifetime Guarantee
All Maileid products are made with the highest quality materials and handcrafted with care to ensure they will last a lifetime. Being of heirloom quality, our wallets are intended to be passed to the next generation.
Our lifetime guarantee covers faults in materials and craftsmanship, and applies when the wallet has been used under normal conditions for the purpose intended. In these instances, we will repair your item for free.
Our lifetime guarantee doesn’tapply to damage that occurs through unreasonable use, neglect, or normal wear and tear.
Please note that your leather will mark and change color over time. As well, there will be some gradual stretch of your wallet pocket to accommodate the cards being held. The best way to keep your wallet from becoming excessively stretched is to avoid overstuffing it.

Returning items for an exchange
Faulty items or delivery mistakes
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective or if we sent you the wrong one by mistake. We will evaluate the issue and make it right.
Only one return transaction per order will be accepted, so please carefully inspect all the items in your delivery to ensure satisfaction before you make a return for a portion of your order.
Exchanges
Returning your item is the fastest way to make sure you get what you want..
To initiate a return, contact us, and we will send you a return label. Send the item(s) back to us within 30 days of delivery; Once the return is accepted, we will issue you a refund (on your original payment method) or a store credit. Then, you may make a separate purchase for the new item.

Please carefully inspect all the items in your delivery to ensure satisfaction before you make a return for a portion of your order because only one return transaction per order will be accepted.
To start this process, contact us about the item you wish to return, and we will send you a return label. Please send the item back to us within 30 days of delivery.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved.
When approved, you will be refunded the cost of the item on your original payment method (minus the original shipping cost) within 10 business days. If your card has expired or been canceled, then the return will be issued as a store credit. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Is my item eligible for a return?
To be eligible for a return
Your item must be in the same new/original condition that you received it, unused, unaltered, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Can I return any item?
Items that cannot be returned or exchanged

- Items that you’ve made any alterations to
- International orders (outside of Canada and the United States)
- Final Sale items

How do I start an exchange or return?
To start a return
You can contact us at hello@maileidleather.com (or by replying to your order confirmation email).
Once your return is accepted, we will notify you through email and send you a return label.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted for exchange or refund.
What if we have made an error?
We apologize. In instances where we’re at fault, we will arrange the shipping for you through our chosen courier and send you a return label. Please note that we will not reimburse your return freight costs if you decide to ship it back on your own expense; no exceptions will be allowed.
What happens if I need an item repaired?
We repair all items in cases where the damage falls under our lifetime guarantee. We will replace the item if it’s covered under our guarantee but has an issue that isn’t repairable. If the design or color isn’t available, we will work together to agree on an alternative.
